Bruce MacPherson - keyboards
Mac is a NYC based multi keyboardist and composer and well rounded musician with a diverse musical background. Mac studied at Hartt School of Music and played in popular bands such as Blue Mountain Band, Earth, MTR and The Stem Cells composing a lot of the material that was performed.
He was the Musical Director and Keyboardist for Lesley Gore, The Dana Carvey Show (ABC Prime Time ) and was a recipient of an Emmy Award for music for the PBS Special “Saving Springer”. A love of performing and keeping the Multi Keyboardist tradition alive has brought the creation of MACALAS to further explore musicianship and showmanship.
Bill Calabrese - bass, guitars, and vocals
Bill is a versatile musician with 30 years of experience performing in a variety of bands. He is best known for his work with Connecticut Transit Authority, a Chicago tribute band, as well as Capricorn, which pays homage to the Allman Brothers. Additionally, he has toured alongside the renowned Chicago blues artist Kal David, showcasing his skills on bass and vocals.
Dave Las - drums, percussion and vocals
Las is both a student and a teacher of drumming. His passion for drums began at a very young age and for over five decades has performed with some of New Englands best musicians and bands. He also studied for many years with three renowned Connecticut drum instructors - Eddie Montana, Al Lepac, and Bob Gatzen. Some of his most recent work includes holding down the drum seat in Connecticut Transit Authority, a renowned Chicago tribute band, and performing with the great Kal David (of Illinois Speed Press & Fabulous Rhinestones) during his last New England tour.
